Popnicute Group Buy Successfully Launched this Summer

popnicute jewelry launched a successful group buy this summer.
Popnicute Group Buy (named Cutie Collective) is a new program that I introduced this August 2019. Group buying, also known as collective buying, offers products and services at reduced prices on the condition that a minimum number of buyers would make the purchase.

What is Popnicute Group Buy why should you take part?

Popnicute Group Buy (named Cutie Collective) is a new program that I introduced this August 2019. Group buying, also known as collective buying, offers products and services at reduced prices on the condition that a minimum number of buyers would make the purchase.

I’ve been involved in many group-buys in the past for getting tools and supplies at the wholesale prices. Usually, the group-buy leader had an account with an annual quota to maintain to receive the best price from the supplier. This is where we help as a group. I was able to get my tools and supplies at a better rate than I ever could flying solo.

But aren't Popnicute Jewelry products handmade?

That is correct. I handcraft my jewelry with my own two hands. But… there are a few things that I automate to save my hands from fatigue from repetitive actions. Like mass sanding and polishing in a tumbler. I can fit about 1/4 cup of jewelry inside a tumbler in one go. A session in a tumbler can vary from 30 minutes to 24 hours.

This is where the group-buy comes in. I can offer my jewelry at a reduced price because I can do the mass sanding and polishing at once. It’s all about efficiency. So instead of tumbling just one, I can tumble 10 pieces at a time and that’s a big saving on water, time, and electricity. That was one example of the time-saving effort that made possible by the group buy.

TL;DR: Here's how The Cutie Collective works!

  • Get a special price on a featured product of the month when you sign your name on the offer page.
  • It requires a minimum of 5 people to commit (so tell all your friends!)
  • Once 5 people sign up, the promotion kicks in.
  • You have 3 days to place your commitment.

Popnicute’s Group Buy for August was for the Wavy Cuff bracelets.

There are 3 styles to choose from. Group-buy price:

  1. Wavy Dot Copper Cuff = $60 ($15 off $75)
  2. Wavy Texture Copper Cuff = $60 ($15 off $75)
  3. Wavy Dot Silver Cuff = $110 ($25 off $135)

Eleven people committed to buying the Wave Cuffs made this first group-buy a success.

When I'm not working on improving my metalsmithing skills, I like to take macro photos of flowers (but only when the weather is warm because I'm picky like that). I spend my days watching funny animal videos on Facebook and/or glued on Netflix. It's hard to imagine that I won awards for my jewelry if you judge me by my silly pajamas.

I wanna know... What are you thinking? Tell me what's on you mind...
