A handmade whimsical bird bib necklace. A conversation piece. I always get compliments over this necklace. This comical bird made entirely of Argentium silver with a large rock of Indian Blanket Jasper captured in the middle. The green mustard beak and purple crown were painted with powder coating. The same durable powder paint used for cars. It’s scratch resistant almost glass like. The colors and pattern on the Indian Blanket jasper is quite surreal, almost like looking at a picture of a galaxy with stars and planets on it. Get this whimsical bird bib necklace today! There’s nothing else quite like it.

The legs of the bird are moveable. They will point downwards when worn and will move with you. The tail is painstakingly wire wrapped with fine Argentium sterling silver wire and finished with an embroidery pattern down in the middle of each feather. The wing is stamped to form a dynamic pattern on it. The calico patina on the bird’s body is unexpected and fun but may age differently with wear. To note that the patina may show up differently than pictured due to the cleaning process.

Ellie Birdie is a big fat bird who’s enjoying a long piece of worm she just picked off of the ground. Ellie is a confident, whimsical bird who is especially proud of her decorative tail. She cleans and puffs her tail dry. Besides sunbathing inside a bird bath in the summer, her favorite activity is pecking worms through the damp ground. She also loves to decorate herself with fresh berries before eating them. She’s an aspiring music writer (though her rhyme is quite questionable).
